Jeremy Scott talks Walt Disney, French Fries and Thrift Shopping

“I’m touching on the brand’s history of poking fun at high fashion and the status quo of consumerism.”

That was Jeremy Scott’s answer when asked by Daily Front Row what the fashion forward public can look forward to from his first ever men’s Moscino collection.

His decision to show in London was in his words because, “I thought it would be fun!”

With the American designer’s debut Moschino Spring/Summer 2015 menswear show hot on our heels, everyone wants to get a piece of Jeremy Scott.

What was the last book you read?

I’m currently making my way through Walt Disney’s biography. I’ve just got to the part where he gets to Disney.

What would be your last meal on earth?

Cheap pizza, naughty calories.

What are your essential items?  

I travel light, what can I say? There’s this [Produces iPhone with Moschino French Fries cover].

What was the last item of clothing you bought?

I don’t really shop, unless it’s thrift. LA (where I live) has the most amazing second-hand stores.

What advice would you give to your teenage self?

Follow your heart.
