Rodarte, known for their quirks, presented their Fall Winter collection designed to appease the geek inside. The Fall Winter 2014 show, sponsored by the Mercedes-Benz, is laced with Star Wars imprint on their dresses.

Rodarte Fall line paid a homage to the original trilogy by showing off five dresses with prints borrowed heavily and prominently from the Star Wars movies.

Fashion has been flirting around with technology as of late, making a very strange bed fellow. There has been talk about jewellery and accessories lines that will be embedded with the latest technology. Samsung recently released details on their smart watch called Samsung Gear and Google is rumoured to be testing for more fashionable design for their Google glass.

I like the idea of mixing iconic images from movies like Starwars as in the case of Rodarte Fall 2014 Line. If only they would have used the image more creatively rather than just dumped the image into the skirt. That screams like “I’m running out of idea, let’s put Star Wars and get everyone’s talking.”
