Spring Summer 2014 fashion collection is about to rush in stores and in New York, it seems the showcase for the Fall 2014 collection might be avoided by major designers like a bad plague.
With Michael Kors, Vera Wang and Diane Von Furstenberg have declared publicly that they would be showcasing their Fall 2014 collection at different venues, one designer decided to stay. Carolina Herrera will show in her standard time slot at the tents, Feb. 10 at 10 AM.
“For me, the runway show is about the clothes first and foremost,” the designer said in a statement. “And sharing the collection with a broad global audience both in person and digitally is my secondary priority.”
She was never shied of her opinion deriding the fashion circus that has been going out outside the fashion show, saying ‘gotten too commercial, too much like a trade show.”
Will this be the demise of style bloggers outside fashion week?
