Prada and Wes Anderson have come together once more to create a little movie magic, and trust, the 16-second trailer below has all the ingredients to make a cinephile or sartorial devotee swoon. Castello Cavalcanti, the latest project from the luxe fashion house and esteemed American director, is an on-screen adventure worthy of a seatbelt.
The teaser takes us to Italy in the ’50s, with Jason Schwartzman (naturally) as the quirky lead. Hues of yellow and red saturate the fast-paced clip that shows race-car driver Schwartzman fleeing the scene of a crash. We can’t see much of the Prada designs yet — at least for the ladies — but the Anderson aesthetic we love so much is impossible to miss.
While you’d have to be at the Rome Film Festival tomorrow to view the debut in person, you can still check out the eight-minute short in its entirety when it goes live at 6:30 p.m. CET on November 13, only on the Prada website.
